Let’s face it — voting might not be as exciting as bitching… but it is how we run the hash. Better still, you can actually do something! At least come and drink/run/vote. Be the change. Or at least be the voter. The hash is weird enough. Let’s at least choose who makes it weirder. The list of candidates for the mismanagement 2026 / 2027 are:
# Grand Master Premature Cocksucker Big Top
# Religious Advisor SNOBalls Chainsaw Big Top
# Beermeister/raiser (x2) Granny Muff (unless someone helps him: this beer every week
# Hash Cash New Balls & Golden Shower
# Hare Raiser Just Larry Big Top Squatty Potty
# Web Slave Just Rasmus Just Larry HMHW Spermalbad / Granny Muff
# Haberdasher Cheese ESM

Yes, we know winter is around the corner, but a few months ago you complained it was too hot!Everyone’s feeling lazy, but let’s make the most of not boiling. People can be fun — and moving your body keeps it from melting!
Join us every Thursday at 7pm or on the first Saturday of the month at 2pm. We have walkers, we have runners, and we always have beer (or whatever you fancy).
Each week is a new location — never too far or too fast (unless you want it to be). Afterwards, we gather for drinks and a song or two in the circle.
When it is colder, dress (bring something) warm, bring a torch (flash light) and just turn up. Focus on fun, not being serious and getting out. Way more fun than sitting at home or talking with work colleagues!

As every year, we’d signed up to run the Zurich SOLA Relay – the largest event of its kind in Switzerland, consisting of 14 relay sections around Zurich.
We have two teams registered, so we need 28 willing r*nners, plus beer angels, backups, or cheering fans.
We celebrate the finish by barbecuing / boozing at finish in Irchel Park (around 18:00). Everyone welcome – no hash-cash for runners. CHF 40 registration for runners.
SOLA is a relay run around the city of Zurich. A team of 14 runners covers a total distance of 114.77 km, with 2,640 m of elevation gain across the greater Zurich area. The 14 sections range from 3.69 km to 14.11 km, making them suitable for all types of runners. More information can be found on the SOLA homepage.
As in previous years, all genders can run any section. The race starts with leg 1 at 07:30 (all our teams are registered as slow teams) in the misty Hönggerberg woods. Runners 2–7 head out toward Engstringen, up and along the Uetliberg, and then back into town. The morning section finishes at the University of Zurich Irchel campus. The afternoon runners (legs 8–12) start at 12:30. The trail heads through Forch to Egg and returns to Witikon. Two shorter legs then bring the relay to the final finish at Irchel. Our meeting point will be at the tents across the lake from the finish area.
Handover between runners is done by handshake, so it is important to arrive early for your leg.
Please pay your registration fee of CHF 40 into the regular ZH3 account, referencing: “SOLA 2026 – [Your Hash Name]”
TBC whether SOLA will have dedicated haberdashery this year. A final party and grill will take place at Irchel Park near the finish line.
If you would like to be placed on the standby list, please contact the GM (or other hashers).
Winterfest 2026 sold out, and was loads of fun at EVIL VILLAIN ZH3 lair of Lungern, Switzerland. Surrounded by mountains, lakes, dirty snow and far away from meddling MI6 we can plan our most delicious plans of world domination, by consuming copious amounts of beer/bubbles/cider to get our collective cranium going!
We promised and delivered an entire weekend’s worth of entertainment, delivering the following in various volumes and poor distribution of quality:
3 official trails, plus one for those who don’t mind a frostbitten pecker
Absolutely epic home made meals to warm you from the deep inside
All the Beer/Bubbles/Cider/yellow snow/other human fluids you can drink
1 drunken Friday night party
1 even more drunken Saturday party preceded by silly games followed by serious dancing
